What Switchback does
Switchback is a personal recovery support app for adults. It helps you build a practical recovery profile, save coping tools and warning signs, journal, check in, prepare for meetings, use crisis resources, and reach trusted people through Circle.
The app also includes a personalized Coach that uses what you choose to save in your profile to help you pause, name what is happening, and choose a next recovery-aligned action. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, or an emergency service.
Why we ask for account data
When you create an account, Switchback asks for basic sign-in information so we can create your account, keep you signed in, protect your account, and let you return to your saved recovery tools across devices.
If you choose “Continue with Google,” Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with Switchback. We use that information only to create or sign in to your Switchback account and identify you inside the app. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for marketing.
